I was given an opportunity to create a painting for one of my dearest childhood friend’s father. The creative license was left up to me, after several months (actually almost a whole year) I am finally revealing my near complete painting!

I started work with Modern In Denver magazine in December 2010.. and I couldn’t be happier. The saying: “Love what you do, do what you love” has finally resonated with me.. It seems like everything that I have been working towards in higher education (history, design, strategy & theory, media, communication, space, community, sustainism) is all tied up into MID. I am honored to be working with William Logan, the main publisher and along side those who contribute to the magazine’s exceptional content – writers, photographers, advertisers and production. Best of all, Modern In Denver is about supporting the local creative community – we care about the historic neighborhoods, emerging and established artisans, and about informing and inspiring our readers about whats happening in Denver. We are a young publication, just 2 1/2 years old, but we’re like a reincarnation of an old master.
